Combining a chic elopement in the City of Salzburg with a mountain elopement close by was a challenge for me as their wedding planner in Salzburg, but in Austria, your dreams come true!

We planned a classy day in the city for their destination wedding in Austria: The First Look took place on Steinterrasse with the famous castle Festung Hohensalzburg in the background. We got so lucky: the sun came out just for these few hours and the photographer was able to capture their love in the most romantic city in Austria. After that, they officially married in the Marble Hall at Schloss Mirabell, the renowned town hall in Europe, followed by a photo session in Mirabell Gardens. The couple enjoys the outdoors and hiking at weekends, which led us to plan the symbolic ceremony on the top of Untersberg. They expected sun and blue sky for their mountain elopement in Salzburg at the end of June, but we got clouds and rain. However, we still decided to take the cable car up the mountain, where we were almost the only people. These circumstances allowed us to play music as loud as we wanted, cry without shame because of their most empathetic wedding vows and have an uninterrupted wedding ceremony followed by a champagne picnic in the clouds. A genuinely mystical day they will never forget – truly unique and reflects their style!

Salzburg is a fairytale city that is perfect for an intimate elopement. With its stunning Baroque architecture, lush green hills, classical music and winding cobblestone streets, the Sound of Music city will undoubtedly take your breath away.
